The talk overviews key milestones of the series of conferences, geographical distribution of host organizations, coordinating and program committees as well as conference topics.

Victor N. Zakharov. Born 1948. Graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1971. Received his Candidate’s degree (computer systems) in 1979 and Doctoral degree (software development) in 2011. He works at the Federal Research Center “Computer Science and Control” of the Russian Academy of Sciences as Scientific Secretary. Scientific interests: computer architecture, fault-tolerant systems, system software, information systems, and digital libraries. Author and coauthor of more than 250 papers. Member of the Association for Computing Machinery and of the National Committee of RAS for Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis.
