Professor Serebryakov is known among the DAMDID conference audience as a regular participant and the man who stood at the conference's origins, beginning with the conference "Digital Libraries: Advanced Methods and Technologies, Digital Collections." The list of his presentations and papers is quite extensive, and many of the participants remember them. These were always collaborations with his students, undergraduates, graduate students, and colleagues. It's worth mentioning the projects he worked on. Although they may not be widely known, they were, in general, ahead of their time.
Since the 2000s, Vladimir Alekseevich Serebryakov has been conducting research related to the semantic analysis of scientific data and its integration within the Russian Academy of Sciences. His most well-known project is the "Integrated System of Information Resources (ISIR)." It was there that a semantic data model for individuals and projects at academic institutions was first implemented. This project was later expanded to a number of organizations under the name "Scientific Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences" and eventually became a project of the RAS Mathematics Department. From the 2000s to the present, the data on the RAS portal has been implemented using a semantic model developed under Vladimir Alekseevich's leadership. Few can cite examples of such longevity in the use of a domestic software product. This is because the design was based on promising principles of data analysis and integration. Vladimir Alekseevich's projects are now being continued in new paradigms by his students and colleagues, continuing and developing modern methods of semantic analysis.
